Last night I attended the Free to Succeed Tour (seminar) with David Jay and guest speaker Jasmine Star. These are some HUGE names in the photography world. Becker was also there (another HUGE name) not as part of the tour, but there to listen and learn as well. Before they opened the doors, Becker sat down on the floor (like story time in kindergarten) with a few of us and just talked about what was coming up in the b-school. You have to understand, these people are like celebrities to us photographers. To have the chance to meet and basically just shoot the s*** with them, is a pretty cool thing. Anyways, the seminar was jammed pack with great information and it really has given me a kick in the butt.
SO, I’m excited to say that I have already started making some changes. I’m in the middle of giving my web site a HUGE make over. There will be a new logo, awesome slideshow, new pricing and also a new client viewing center. I’m VERY excited.
I didn't take my camera last night, because I didn't want it to be about that. Taking pictures wasn't why I was there, so I left it at home. I did however, take this picture from Beckers blog and it's all of us sitting and listening to him before they opened the doors. Kinda funny because it started out with just 5 or 6 of us and I didn't realize so many people were standing behind me until I saw the picture.

On Friday, we put an offer in on a house and found out today that they accepted it. YEEAAHHH! It’s such a great deal, in Norco, with a pool, and the best thing is that it’s very close to family and friends. So excited!
Ryan’s party was a complete success. Such a great turn out, and the kids had so much fun playing in the pools. We ordered 3 - 3 foot sandwiches from 7 oaks deli in Corona and by the end of the night there wasn’t much left over. The cake was also very yummy from Albertson. I don’t like cake, but there’s something about fresh fruit filling and butter cream frosting that I just love.
Here are some pictures from the party:
He climbed up on the cooler and ate his chicken nuggets and chips while waiting for his friends to arrive ...
He also couldn't wait to go down the slide into the pool, so he tested that out too while waiting ...
OK, I know that was a long post, but I've been a bad blogger the past few days and I had a lot to say, haha.
